REPAIR MEMBER FOR EXISTING PIPE, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME AND REPAIR ENGINEERING METHOD FOR EXISTING PIPE

PURPOSE: To enable the easy repair of an existing pipe in a sewer of sewerage or the like without performing an excavation work. ;CONSTITUTION: A repair member consists of a tubular part 10 locked on the inner peripheral surface of an existing pipe 101 and a flange part 11 formed on one end of the tubular part 10 to be locked on the end face of the existing pipe 101. At least the flange part 11 is formed of shape memory effect resin to store the shape of the flange part 11, and a repair member 1 deformed to be inserted into the existing pipe 101 is inserted in the existing pipe 101 so that the shape of the flange part 11 is restored to engage one end face of the existing pipe 101. The repair member 1 is inserted from the other end face of the existing pipe 101 so that the end face of the existing pipe 101 joined with a main pipe 100 can be repaired only by restoring the shape of the flange part 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
