PURPOSE:To save the line use charge by adjusting the transmission interval of a strobe signal in response to the content of each digit of dial information so as to reduce the connection time of a communication line. CONSTITUTION:Synchronously with a strobe signal 10 outputted from a control section 63, 4-bit parallel data D0-D3 are read and sent to a dial pulse generating section 62 and the 4-bit data are also sent to the control section 63 simultaneously. The control section 63 recognizes a register number from the inputted 4-bit data and the time width TW required to send the number as a dial pulse is calculated simultaneously. Then after laps of a time TW', the strobe signal 10 is sent so as to attain the transmission of a dial pulse of a register number of a next digit. Thus, the time interval between a dial pulse of a digit and a dial pulse of a succeeding dial pulse is adjusted. Thus, the connection time of the communication line is reduced.
