PURPOSE: To provide specialty cloth having a ground weave and piles composed of a specific fiber, exhibiting excellent water-absorption and developing extremely small wet springback. ;CONSTITUTION: This specialty cloth exhibiting small wet springback after water- absorption and giving little tacky feeling is pile fabric composed of a ground weave and piles. Not less than 50% of the fiber constituting the ground weave is a water-absorbing fiber such as a natural animal or vegetable fiber, regenerated fiber, acetate fiber, a porous fiber, an ultra-fine fiber or a synthetic fiber provided with water-absorbency and not less than 50% of the fiber constituting the pile is a hydrophobic fiber such as synthetic fiber, preferably spun acrylic fiber yarn.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
