PURPOSE:To improve a seal capability in the captioned glass run for an automobile by forming a bendable seal lip, provided to the tip of a vehicle inside side wall part, facing to the bottom part of a glass run via a thick lip supporting part. CONSTITUTION:When an end edge of a window glass 15 is inserted into a glass run 1, a thick lip supporting part 7 is not bent to a side wall part 4, only a vehicle inside seal lip 8 is bent at a bend point 9, and is pressed against the glass 15 surface. Therefore, the bendable and deformable lip 8 itself can be shortened, a seal reaction force is sufficiently assured, and also is made to touch the glass 15 surface. This constitution enables a seal capability to be improved.
