PURPOSE: To lessen movements between rings (slide between bricks) and enhance the tensile strength between ring shaped inside linings by increasing mortar bonding areas between bricks adjacent to each other in the axial direction of a rotary kiln, and to prevent a rise in akin temperature of a shell by the shape of the bricks even when a crevice arises due to cracks in joints. ;CONSTITUTION: The construction of an inside lining of a rotary kiln includes inside lining bricks each having protruding dowels (a') on one side 1 in the axial direction of the rotary kiln and recesses dowels (a) on the other side 2 and arch shaped, fan-shaped or dice-shaped inside lining bricks each having at least one dowel on one side in the axial direction of the rotary kiln.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
