PURPOSE: To provide a detecting method for an HCMV antigen-presenting cell having a high sensitivity and a high specificity in a blood of a patient experiencing a transplantation of a bone marrow. ;CONSTITUTION: Blood of a patient receiving a marrow transplantation is brought into touch with a solution containing hydrogen peroxide and sodium azide to inactivate endogenous peroxidase in the blood. Then, an HCMV antigen in nucleated cells in the blood is bonded with an enzyme marker antibody obtained by bonding an Fab' or F(ab')₂ fragment of an anti-HCMV antibody with peroxidase, and subjected to an immunostain.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
