PURPOSE: To safely, surely and efficiently shave off scales of a horse mackerel. ;CONSTITUTION: (1) This device for removing scales of a horse mackerel is equipped with a fish body transporting means for gripping the tall part of a horse mackerel, a tray-shaped cutter which comprises the tip of a blade having a tray-shaped section to be brought into contact with the scale face of a transported horse mackerel approximately in a tangent line state and is provided with a blade in the circumference of the tray-shaped part and a mechanism for rocking the tip of the blade so as to relatively follow the surface of scales of a horse mackerel. (2) This fish body feeding device is a fish body placing base which is used as a fish body feeding device for a mechanism for gripping the tail part of a horse mackerel, has an inner shape resembling an outer shape from the tail part to the barrel part of the fish body and an open top and is equipped with a channel for fixing scales of a horse mackerel to be engaged with a ridgeline of scales of a horse mackerel in the interior of a part for retaining the tail part. The bottom part of the base is divided into two in the length direction, the divided parts are bonded by a hinge, the front side of the base in the advance direction is fixed and the other side is optionally openable.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
