PURPOSE:To provide the title hygienic equipment having a specific constitution, capable of assuredly, automatically slicing only horse mackerel scale in a continuous manner without injuring the belly, leading to labor saving and cost reduction. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, a horse mackerel A is put on a belt 4 below conveyor belts 3, 4 for making a rotary driving of a pair of rotatable holding rollers 1, 2 and moved while being held by said rollers 1, 2. Thence, the scale B of this horse mackerel A is sliced with a pair of rotatable cutters 5,6 close to the outer surface of said rollers 1, 2, and the rollers 1, 2, owing to the belly thickness of the horse mackerel A, are moved in such directions as to be separated from each other with gears 13, 14 connected, respectively, to arms 9, 10 serving as supports. Thereby, the cutters 5, 6 are moved upward and downward through frames 7, 8, respectively, followed by allowing the horse mackerel A to fall toward a chute 44. Finally, the arms 9, 10, frames 7, 8, rollers 1, 2, and cutters 5, 6 are returned to the respective original positions taking advantage of the force of a spring 15.
