PURPOSE: To obtain a high vacuum degree, wide material contact heating area and large overall heat transmission coefft. by installing this drying machine in such a manner that load is not applied on a vessel body of a projecting type and the lower part of the vessel body of a reduction gear having a weight. CONSTITUTION: A hemispherical dome-shaped material contact part 4 is put on a wide and flat bottom plate 2 and a hemispherical dome-type discharge section 3 is superposed thereon. Only the discharge cylinder 6 is mounted at a top plate. The reduction gear 16 and driving gear 15 of a stirrer having load are all mounted in the lower part of the vessel body, by which the heavy objects and the vessel body are separated. The vessel body is kept free from deformation and hermeticity is maintained even if load of -750mmHg is applied on the vessel body under a vacuum degree of =10Torr.
