PRODUCTION OF AGRICULTURAL/HORTICULTURAL SHEET AND TREE-RAISING POT MOLDED THEREFROM

PURPOSE:To produce a tree-raising pot with no concern for causing root rot, simple in disposal thereof when became useless, also making a tree transplanta tion as a cause of tree decay unnecessary, and to obtain the subject sheet as a molding material for the pot. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, needle juniper fibers are mutually thinly laminated in a mat-shaped fashion to form into a fibrous material 3. The surface of the fibrous material 3 is then provided with biodegradable plastic granules 2...2 so as to be dispersed uniformly. The resultant laminate is then fed in the arrow direction under compression by two rollers whose one 4 has a heating means and the other 4a without such a means. During this process, the biodegradable plastic granules 2...2 are melted by the roller 4 and infiltrated into the fibrous material 3, which is then herdened under compression into the objective agricultural/horticultural sheet 1. This sheet 1 is assembled through a pattern- draw trimming and molded into the objective tree-raising pot.
