HEAT ACCUMULATOR WITH COLD RETAINING AND HEAT RETAINING FUNCTIONS

PURPOSE: To provide a heat accumulator with cold retaining and heat retaining functions which prevents rupture of a bag body packed with a gelatinous heat medium when the bag body is heated by hot water or microwave oven, etc. ;CONSTITUTION: This heat accumulator with cold retaining and heat retaining functions consists of the bag body which is formed by packing the gelatious heat medium into a hermetically closed bag and mounting a pressure regulating valve 30 at the prescribed section of the bag. The bag body is formed of a laminated film 20 formed by laminating a nylon film having excellent heat resistance and a linear low-density polyethylene film. On the other hand, the pressure regulating valve 30 consists of a body 30a which is provided with a bottom wall 32 having a relief hole 30c, an elastic valve disk 40 which is laid on the inside surface of the bottom wall of the body 30a and closes the relief hole 30c and a holder 50 which is fitted into the body 30a in order to fix a part of the elastic valve disk 40 to the body 30a. A gaseous component, such as steam, is released outside through the relief hole 30c when the gaseous component is generated from the gelatious heat medium at the time of heating the heat accumulator with cold retaining and heat retaining functions.
