SEEDLING RAKE-IN DEVICE IN RUSH SEEDLING CASSETTE PACKER

PURPOSE: To provide the subject device designed to effectively rake in to the packing side the stem/leaf tips of rush seedlings delivered from conveyer belts into a cassette case. ;CONSTITUTION: In the subject packer designed to allow rush seedlings 2 delivered by a pair of conveyer belts 4a fall into a cassette case 5 and pack them thereinto by the action of a seedling pressing body 7 free to make reciprocating motions, a rake-in rod 8 longer than the lateral width of the cassette case 5 is transversely set up above the cassette case 5 coming behind the terminal end of both the conveyer belts 4a, and is made drivable so as to make a motion along such a locus as to nearly horizontally move from front to backward side at a height so as to come into contact with the stem/leaf tips of the rush seedlings 2 fallen into the cassette case 5 and also move from rear to forward side above the stem/leaf tips thereof.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
