THE MODERN BUILDING SYSTEM BY USING SPECIAL CONCRETE BLOCKS

The building development and invention company is developing a new building ‎system based on buildings technique systems that had been already in parts of Europe The philosophy of the new develop system is emphasizing the principles of using ‎local material on site manufacturing and a simple mechanism of construction which ‎would lead to reasonable cost, acceptable quality and shorter construction duration ‎type of housing.‎ The system consists mainly of different types of concrete hollow blocks that are ‎manufactured on site following the local practice simple process and mechanism and ‎using local materials that are traditionally used for construction and found available ‎nearby most of the urban areas in the country.‎ The company had produced the catalogue listing the different types of the pre cast ‎concrete blocks, elements used for construction and the description of the ‎construction methodology which means that there is no need to repeat it in our report.‎ Accordingly, the building development and investment company assigned our office ‎to investigate and assure the structural safety of the system which is one of the main ‎factor that would decide the acceptance and success of the system in the housing ‎market.‎ The main target of this report is to investigate and assure the structural safety of the ‎system in order to validate it from the structural view point.‎ An appendix to this report would follow later and would include the structural details ‎of the foundations of the system for different types of soils, varied depths of footing ‎and various number of floors.‎ The structural details for a typical footing, grade beam, column, typing elements and ‎ribs would be included in this report.‎
