The invention relates to the process for the preparation of ophthalmological pharmaceutical compositions for the standard treatment of glaucoma or ocular hypertension, which involves mixing an effective amount, for the reduction of the intraocular pressure, of a prostaglandin PGA, PGB, PGD, PGE or PGF derivative in which the omega chain contains a cyclic structure with an ophthalmologically compatible vehicular agent. The invention also relates to the use thereof in the treatment of glaucoma or ocular hypertension in human beings or animals.
