An improved method and a corresponding apparatus for waterproofing of surfaces of road works comprising the phases of spreading out onto the road base 1 a first layer of bituminous material 5 and simultaneous stretching out of a layer of waterproofing fabric 6, spreading out onto the latter a second layer of bituminous material 10 and simultaneous scattering onto this a layer of sand 11. The apparatus which enables said method to be implemented comprises a support 8 for paying out fabric 6 from a reel 7, which can be coupled to a first tank truck 2 laying the first layer of bituminous material 5 and a machine 13 scattering the sand 11, which can be coupled to a second tank truck 9 scattering the second layer of bituminous material 10. The method and the apparatus allow a rapid and effective waterproofing of the road bed with less labour and greater waterproofing effectiveness as compared to the known technique. IMAGE
