Anti-theft device for piaggio 'Si' moped, with or without electronic ignition

The anti-theft device described in the specification was designed to prevent the theft of Piaggio "Si" mopeds. Its most important characteristic is the current absorption, which at the time of starting is approximately 500 microamperes, and falls to 186 microamperes after a few hours of operation. The said absorption is determined by the CMOS 4093 integrated circuit made by S.G.S., and together with the sensors described in the specification forms an obstacle to theft and to the removal of parts of the moped. The essential parts of this anti-theft device are therefore a vibration switch located in the headlight, a switch in the stand, and finally the pulse produced by starting the moped. IMAGE
