A system for connection of metallic channel sections 1 and non-metallic lining sections 2 to form composite- structure window frames 3 with independent expansions of channel sections 1 and linings 2, comprising at least one joint 4 having an element 6 for connecting the metallic channel sections 1 to the linings 2, integrated with the lining 2 and associated with a guide 5, produced on the channel section 1, so as to allow relative mobility, elastically frictioned, of the lining 2 and the channel section 1 along a first direction 21 of longitudinal sliding, said connection element 6 being connected to the channel section 1 in an elastically yielding manner along a first direction 22 transverse to the guide 5 so as to apply friction to said guide 5, enabling, in the joint 4, freedom of relative movement, at least bidirectional, for the metallic channel sections 1 and the connected lining sections 2.
