A thrombolytic composition containing tissue typeplasminogen activator or a derivative thereof in combinationwith an anionic polymer or a salt thereof and an aminecompound or a salt thereof or in combination with an anionicpolymer or a salt thereof, an amine compound and an acid ora salt thereof. The composition is an aqueous solution or alyophilized preparation which can be stably dissolved ondilution at near neutral pH in both pharmaceutical solutionshaving high salt concentrations, such as physiologicalsaline, and pharmaceutical solutions having low saltconcentrations, such as a 5% glucose solution. Clinicallyuseful products for infusion or injection are prepared to beused at a pH near neutral.
