The invention pertains to an electromagnetic valve with a pressure limiting function whereby a lift movement of the valve tappet (2) as a function of an electromagnetic regulating force can be modified by the action of a hydraulic regulating force. A first pressure medium line (5) opens into the valve housing (7) in the region of the valve tappet (2) and establishes a connection with the brake pressure transmitter (1).
