DRIVING DEVICE FOR THE FEEDING ROLLERS OF COMBING MACHINES WITH SEVERAL COMBING HEADS

A driving device for the feeding rollers of combing machines with several combing heads has a tonged device arranged to swivel around a fixed axis and fixed driving means for the feeding rollers, the bearing of the feeding roller being located on said tong device. In order to simplify the driving device, make it more versatile and easier to use, and increase its working speed, the device has a driving shaft (3) coaxially arranged to the swivelling bearing of the tong device (1) for driving the feeding rollers (2) of all combing heads. A drive (4, 5, 6) that may be modified according to the laws of dynamics is associated to the driving shaft (3). Elements for transmitting the motion of the driving shaft (3) to the feeding roller (2) are associated to the driving shaft (3) in the area of each combing head and the tong device (1) with its rocker (11) rotates freely on the driving shaft (3).
