摘要

The preparation method for Rickettsia tsutsugamushi (I) antigen (II) consists of (1) injecting (I) into the vitelline membrane (III) of specific pathogen free chicken and culturing at 35 deg. C for 9-11 days, (2) transferring (I) for 50 generations (almost 2 years) as step 1, (3) homogenizing (III), (4) inactivating (I) by adding 0.05-0.5% of 37% formalin solution at 4-37 deg. C for 5-60 days, (5) passing through the column packed with Amberlite to discard yolk components, (6) centrifuging in Percoll gradient and recovering (II) at 1.06-1.07 density. (I) is used as Gilliam type ATCC VR 312 and/or Kamp type ATCC VR 150.
