FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: given method includes supply of inert gas, initial powder and water-repellent lubricant such as zinc stearate for their flattening in centrifugal field to receive mixture in the form of scales of initial powder with water-repellent lubricant on the edges of scales. Scaled mixture is classified. Peculiarity of the method consists in grinding scaled mixture before its classification by impact in centrifugal field in direction perpendicular to the scales plane. Device for carrying out the method has an initial powder feeder, lubricant feeder, centrifugal ball mill with grinding balls mounted on a horizontal shaft, unit for classification of ground powder, unit supplying the inert gas to the hollows of the device and the system of communicating pipes. The device has impact-centrifugal mill mounted on a horizontal shaft placed between ball mill and unit classifying the ground powder. This unit is constructed as linearly inertial and centrifugal separators with their hollows communicated with each other and with the hollow of initial powder feeder and cyclone. In this case outlet sleeve for gas exit from cyclone is engaged with the hollow of impact centrifugal mill. The mill discharging hole is connected with the sleeve providing the scale mixture into the linear-inertial separator. The sleeve removing highly dispersed fraction of scaled mixture from centrifugal separator is engaged with the sleeve supplying it to the cyclone. EFFECT: enhanced quality. 2 cl, 4 dwg
