PURPOSE: A silver coated copper particles and a method for manufacturing silver coated copper powder using an electroless coating method are provided to manufacture silver coated copper powder at low cost and to prevent the coherence of copper particles.;CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing silver coated copper powder using an electroless coating method comprises the following steps. (NH4)2SO4 and NH4OH, which are an oxide film removing agent, are immersed in a reaction bath, filled with copper powder and distilled water, in order to eliminate a copper oxide film from copper powder. Ascorbic acid, which is reducing agent, is added to the mixture. Silver nitrate solution and an ammonia solution, which is a complexing agent of silver, are added to the mixture while controlling casting speed. Thereafter, the ammonia silver complex reacts to the ascorbic acid.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
