FIELD: biology. SUBSTANCE: method involves administration of zimosan from Saccharomyces cerevisiae to mice preliminary treated with 0.1% or 1% solution of acid fuchsin at the dose 1-2 mg per animal. For formation mature granulomas in the liver 1 mg zimosan granules stained with 0.1% solution of acid fuchsin is administrated. For formation mature macrophagal granulomas showing expressed tendency to involution at 90 days 1 mg zimosan granules stained with 1% solution of acid fuchsin is administrated. For formation mature macrophagal granulomas showing fibrosis symptoms and without tendency to involution at 90 days 2 mg zimosan granules stained with 1% solution of acid fuchsin is administrated. Invention ensures to study processes of formation and reversed development of mature macrophagal granulomas and investigate different stages of chronic inflammation development in the liver.
