FIELD: quantum electronics. SUBSTANCE: gas pulse-periodic laser includes pump oscillator, optical resonator, cylindrical metal case filled with working mixture. Case houses pre-ionization system, electrodes forming discharge gap and capacitors. Capacitors are arranged in symmetry on both sides of discharge gap and are coupled by feeding plates to electrodes. One of plates is grounded and the other one is potential one. Pump oscillator and space with working mixture are separated by insulator. Insulator is produced in the form of sleeve mounted on one of butts of case and capacitors are placed in staggered arrangement. Holes are made in potential feeding plate between capacitors. EFFECT: simplified design, reduced labour input for its manufacture and increased average radiation power. 2 dwg
