The locks can be opened by inserting a coin which can be retrieved when a trolley is in position, locked and claimed as before. The figures shown a wide variety of possible marks or tokens, usually in the form of a disc or coin, each with an appropriate holder. Some holders are even heart-shaped. Each mark is made with a ferromagnetic core and an electronic circuit, providing the activation or de-activation of the lock.
