The invention relates to a device for applying blasts of compressed air to remove caked or accumulated material in process containers and the like, with a compressed air tank (1), to the outlet (2) of which is secured an adapter (4) in which a fast air outlet valve (12, 13) releases blasts of air through a blower stub (7) on the adapter (4), where the piston (13) or the components (12, 13) of the fast air outlet valve is fitted substantially accessibly in the adapter (4) in such a way that the compressed air can be largely directly blown out.
