The atomiser head shape is determined using a finite element method calculation. Four criteria are useful for the calculation. The fine is frequency region determined by the desired size of the atomised fluid drops for the main mode of the atomiser head (2K). The second criterion is the minimum distance between the adjacent mode and the main mode of the atomiser head. The third criterion is the type of movement of the usable surface (A) for atomisation. The final criterion is the application of the entire atomiser head as an oscillatable body.
