PURPOSE:To form ruffles simultaneously with knitting into surface knit fabric part by filling knitting machinery by knitting into surface knit fabric, folded back knit fabric and piled knit fabric in series by knitting needles of front and rear needle beds and subjecting each knit fabric to transfer treatment in a specific state. CONSTITUTION:Surface knit part A, folded back knit part B, piled knit fabric C, folded back knit fabric D and surface knit fabric E are knitted by a front knitting needle and/or a rear knitting needle from knitting yarns 1, 2 and 3, the end parts are connected by tuck knitting and boundary parts I and II are knitted by one side knitting. The folded back knit fabric part is treated for preventing unbinding, the knit fabric is removed from the knitting needles, the knit fabrics A and E and/or C are made in an adjoining state, the side edge part of the knit fabric C is transferred in the direction separating from the side edge part of the knit fabrics A and E, the piled knit fabric is positioned on the back of the surface knit fabric, the top parts of both the knit fabrics are knitted. The top part of the fold back knit fabric is made a floating state and the knit part is doubled.
