Traffic sound absorption panel for protection of dwelling areas

The sound absorption panel comprises a rear concrete element (4) having in its face (7) directed towards the sound source, a housing (8) occupied by a front absorbing element (12). This front absorber is made in porous concrete with open porosities which form a supplementary absorption. The front element is intimately connected on its periphery with the rear. An absorber (11) is located in the housing and interposed between the rear and front elements. It occupies between 50 % to 70% of the working surface of the panel. The rear concrete element has a continuous peripheral edge (9) which delimits the housing and defines a front plane (P). The front absorbing element has corrugations (15) which project from the front plane.
