PATCH DATA AUTOMATIC GENERATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically generate patch data consisting of a couple of objects before and after correction from one source program by combining patch management information with the pair of generated objects. SOLUTION: A program source 201 in a source file 101 is compiled by a compiler 102 and stored in an object file 103. Then an automatic patch generating program 104 inputs an object from objects file 103 and generates a patch data file 105. In this case, A NEW table consisting of patch management information and patch objects matching a specified patch version and an OLD table consisting of program objects and patch objects older than the specified patch version are generated and the pair of generated objects and the patch management information in the NEW table are combined to generate the patch data.
