PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vinyl chloride resin foamed sheet having fire retardancy and high in foaming magnification by compounding inorg. fine particles with a vinyl chloride resin and an ethylene/vinyl chloride copolymer resin in a predetermined ratio with respect to the sum total of those resins and foaming the obtained compd. in predetermined foaming magnification. ;SOLUTION: 60-200 pts.wt. of inorg. fine particles are compounded with 100 pts.wt. of the sum total of a vinyl chloride resin and an ethylene/vinyl chloride copolymer resin and foaming magnification is set to 4-10 times. The vinyl chloride resin is pref. a resin with a polymerization degree of 700-1,300 and a polymerization degree may be single or a combination of a plurality of ones. The polymerization degree of the ethylene/vinyl chloride copolymer resin is pref. 650-1,300 and may be single or a combination of a plurality of ones. The ethylene/vinyl chloride copolymer resin is 30-3 pts.wt. per 70-97 pts.wt. of the vinyl chloride resin and pref. 20-5 pts.wt. per 80-95 pts.wt. of the vinyl chloride resin.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
