HOT TIP METAL FOR SPRAY PLATING, RECYCLING DEVICE FOR NONOXIDIZING GAS AND SPRAY PLATING METHOD FOR BAND SHAPED STEEL SHEET USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the recovery and reutilization of hot dip metal and a nonoxidizing gas by providing a hot dip metal circulating device and a nonoxidizing gas circulating device. ;SOLUTION: In a plating chamber 2, a strip steel 1 is sprayed with hot dip metal by' a spray nozzle 3, and a nonoxidizing gas contg. fine grains is exhausted from a duct 17. The greater part of the fine grains in the nonoxidizing gas adheres to the inside wall of a cyclone 7 and is separated from the gas. By holding the temp. of the inside wall of the cyclone 7 to the melting temp. of plating metal or above, the adhered metallic fine grains are formed into flown drops, which descend and are recovered into a pot 11. The hot dip metal in the pot 11 is fed to the spray nozzle 3 by the hot dip metal circulating device 12 and is reutilized. On the other hand, since the nonoxidizing gas discharged from the cyclone 7 contains metallic fine grains and vapor which could not be separated by the cyclone 7, they are condensed by a cooling device 8 to form into solid grains and are removed by a filter 9.
