UNITARY-BODY TYPE HEATER WITH EBULLIENT COOLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the unitary-body type heater with an ebullient cooler, which can obtain sufficient cooling performance without enlarging a rotating machine (heater). ;SOLUTION: An ebullient cooler used as the cooling means for a motor 1 comprises a cooling device 15, a heat radiator and a blower 17 and is assembled as a unitary body together with the motor 1. The cooling device 15 comprises an annular (cylindrical shape) container 15a, which is pushed into the outer surface of a stator core and fixed, and a cap body 15b, which covers the upper opening surface of the container 15a. A refrigerant R, which is boiled and vaporized by receiving the heat generated from the motor 1, is sealed in the interior of the cooling device 15. An inverter circuit 6, which performs the number-of-rotation control of the motor 1, is fixed to the lower part of the cooling device 15 and covered with a cover 19 as a unitary body. The heat radiator is arranged at the upper part of the cooling device 15 through a communicating pipe 18 at a part of the circumferential direction of the cooling device 15.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
