PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily prepare an airport ground map by automatically generating a crossing when the taxiway of an airport ground is inputted. ;SOLUTION: The position data of the taxiway inputted through an input device 20 are supplied through a position information input part 22 to an equipment retrieval part 24. The equipment retrieval part 24 retrieves an equipment data base and retrieves the existent taxiway positioned near the inputted taxiway. The intersection of the discovered taxiway and the new taxiway is calculated by an intersection calculation part 26. A center line connection processing part 30 prepares a circular arc connecting respective center lines so as to constitute the crossing with the calculated intersection as a center. Then, such a circular arc is registered in the equipment data base 28 as the component of the crossing. This registration is performed at an equipment information storage part 32. Thus, since the taxiways are automatically linked with each other by automatically preparing the crossing, the airport ground map can be easily prepared by simple operations.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
