CHASSIS DYNAMOMETER FOR FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a small-sized low-cost chassis dynamometer for a four-wheel drive vehicle which facilitates the maintenance and the regulation of a wheel base. ;SOLUTION: Front wheel side rollers 1a, 1b and rear wheel side rollers 1c, 1d are coupled to each other, and a dynamometer is coupled. A belt tension part 13 is coupled to the rollers 1c, 1d, and the rollers 1c, 1d, the dynamometer coupled them and the part 13 are provided on a moving base 11. The rollers 1a, 1b and 1c, 1d are coupled by a belt 16, and tension is given to the belt 16 by the part 13.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
