PURPOSE: To enhance jointing strength against an external force acting from a direction parallel to a horizontal member by keeping two orthogonal planes of a standing section in contact with the vertical plane of a column as well as the horizontal plane of the horizontal member, and fastening the two orthogonal planes to the sides of a flange section, the column and the horizontal member. ;CONSTITUTION: A standing section 3 is extended from two orthogonal sides. Also, two orthogonal planes of the section 3 is kept in contact with both of the vertical plane of a column 5 and the horizontal plane of a horizontal member 6. Furthermore, a flange section 2 externally extended like a collar from the end of the standing section 3 is kept in contact with the sides of both of the column 5 and the horizontal member 6, and nailed for securing the flange section 2. In this case, a direction for driving a nail to fix the flange section 2 is a shearing direction for an external force applied from a direction parallel to the horizontal member 6, and prevents the nail from being easily loosened against the external force.
