摘要
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the critical temperature of a high-temperature oxide superconductor to be raised by making use of the principle and phenomenon of the solid electrolyte-type fuel cell to elucidate the principle of high-temperature oxide superconductivity. SOLUTION: A pressure vessel 42 is placed inside a stainless steel Dewar vessel 41. Inside the pressure vessel 42, YBCO 43 and a thermocouple 44 are set up. The upper part of the Dewar vessel 41 is provided with a thermal insulation material 46 and the Dewar vessel is provided with a port 47 through which liquid nitrogen is to be charged into the vessel 41. The pressure vessel 42 is suspended inside the Dewar vessel 41 by support bars 48, 49. Oxygen is fed from an oxygen cylinder 54 via a value 55 into the pressure vessel 42. An external circuit 56 is made up of a computer 56A for automatic recording, a four- terminal ohmmeter 56B for the thermocouple, and a galvano, voltmeter 56C for measuring the electrical resistance of the YBCO.
