PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diamond reinforces Al alloy composite member excellent in heat radiation characteristic in the normal service temp. region of the member and having high thermal conductivity. ;SOLUTION: This diamond reinforced Al alloy composite member with high thermal conductivity comprises an Al matrix composed of Al and diamond grains dispersed in the matrix. The member is a plastic worked article. Thermal conductivity C varies so as to draw a conic section with the increase in temp.
