PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling the release of ozone gas, capable of preserving ozone excellent in antimicrobial power and releasing the ozone gas after the lapse of a prescribed period of. ;SOLUTION: A silica gel 1 having adsorbed an ozone gas is packed into a housing bag 2 composed of an airtight material. A gas communicating hole is bored through the housing bag 2. The outside of the housing bag 2 holding the silica gel 1 having adsorbed the ozone gas is embedded in dry ice 3. Rise in temperature in the housing bag 2 following the sublimation of the dry ice 3 releases the ozone gas discharged from the silica gel 1 through has gas communicating hole 5 to the outside of the housing bag 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
