摘要
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new DNA, capable o coding a human K+ channel protein, having a specific amino acid sequence and performing an important function in the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system or a mutant of the human K+ channel protein and useful for identifying a neuron or a neuroblastomatous cell. ;SOLUTION: This DNA is a new one capable of coding a human K+ channel protein having an amino acid sequence represented by the formula or a protein, prepared by adding, deleting or substituting one or plural amino acid residues in the amino acid sequence and having biological activities of the human K+ channel protein and is its fragment and useful as a probe or a primer, etc., for identification of a human neuron or a human neuroblastomatous cell, diagnosis, etc., of a neuroblastoma. The DNA is readily obtained from a cDNA library derived from a human neuroblastomatous cell mRNA by carrying out a plaque hybridization method or a polymerase chain reactional(PCR) method using the cDNA library as a template or a reverse transcription-polymerase chain reactional(RT-PCR) method using the human neuroblastomatous cell mRNA as a starting substance.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
