PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device capable of eliminating a manual removing work, and constantly keeping the thickness of the raw material layer in the width direction of a pallet. ;SOLUTION: In a method for removing stuck matter on a roll feeder of a sintering machine in which a scraper 11 is provided over the whole length of a body of a roll feeder 3 of the sintering machine in an attaching/detaching manner to/from its outer circumference, and the scraper 11 is intermittently attached to remove the stuck stuff to the outer circumference, the scraper 11 provided over the whole length of the body in the vicinity of the outer circumference of the roll feeder 3 of the sintering machine, a rotary shaft 12 to turn the scraper, a lever 14 to turn the rotary shaft 12, and a turning means 15 to turn the lever 14 are provided.
