PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily recognize the replenishing time of powder or developer with respect to a housing container by providing a mechanism with a lever member turned by the flowing resistance of the powder, positioned on the upper surface of the powder and a detection means arranged on the outside of the housing container, set for detecting the approach of the lever member. ;SOLUTION: This mechanism is constituted of a stirring member 11 stirring the powder 8 or liquid, a delivering port 12 delivering the powder 8 or the liquid, the lever member 15 turned by the flowing resistance of the powder 8 or the liquid generated by being stirred by the stirring member 11, positioned on the upper surface of the powder 8 or the liquid and formed of a magnetic body and the detection means 17 detecting the approach of the lever member 15. As for the housing container constituted so that the housed powder 8 or the liquid is supplied to the outside, the approach of the lever member 15 is detected by the detection means 17 on the outside of the housing container.
