PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent abrasion of an inner surface rubber layer, so as to extend the life of a hose, by effectively preventing the inner surface rubber layer in the flange part of a rubber hose from projecting into the hose. ;SOLUTION: An adapter 13 for preventing an inner surface rubber layer 8 in a flange part 3 of a rubber hose 1 from projecting into the rubber hose 1 when the flange part 3 of the rubber hose 1 and a flange part 4 of a pipe 2 are fastened and fixed by a fastening member 6 is provided on a flange joint part G between the pipe 2 and the rubber hose 1. The adapter 13 is constituted of a pipe-shaped body 14 to be brought in contact with the inner surface side of the flange joint part G, and a flange part projecting outward from the outer periphery of the pipe-shaped body 14.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
