METHOD OF JACKET CONSTRUCTION OF WATER-SURFACE ERECTED STRUCTURE BY H-STEEL BEARING PILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold sufficient durable strength without deforming a jacket sheathing pipe, and to fix a bearing pile easily onto the jacket sheathing pipe and cut the bearing pile. ;SOLUTION: Bearing piles 16 for temporary fixing consisting of H-steel are driven beforehand to the bottom of water and the upper end sections of the bearing piles 16 are projected previously onto the surface of water at places corresponding to jacket sheathing pipes 2 at a plurality of preset temporary fixing positions for temporarily fixing jackets. The bearing piles 16 for temporary fixing are inserted into the jacket sheathing pipes 2 at temporary fixing places while hanging down the jackets onto the bearing piles 16 for temporary fixing, the lower ends of the jacket sheathing pipes 2 are borne on brackets for temporarily fastening the jackets mounted on the bearing piles 16 for temporary fixing, and bearing piles 20 are hung up and inserted into the jacket sheathing pipes 2 excepting the temporary fixing places of the jackets. The bearing piles 20 are driven to the bottom of water by a pile-driver, and the excess sections of the bearing piles 20 projected to the upper sections of pile fixtures 22 are cut.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
