PURPOSE: To automate supply of packs and boxes for making casing efficient by inverting the packs which have been carried with bottoms up for arranging them in a lateral line and also carrying the box close to the packs for sucking the arranged packs to case them normally and reversely in an alternate manner. ;CONSTITUTION: Operation for facing packs 3 upward and dividing the packs into two opposite rows for casing them into a box 2 is automatically performed. A pack inverting means 7 inverts the inverted packs 3 transferred in series by reversely turning them with faces facing an inner cylinder 12. The inverted packs 3 are mounted one by one on a conveyer 8 being an arranging means, thereby resulting in the laterally arranged packs. A pack transfer means sucks the individual packs as a unit when an equal number of packs to a number of attracting parts 21 of a lifter 9 have been laterally arranged, lifts the packs from the pack arranging means and transfers into the box 2. The lifter 9 has a horizontally rotating means 18 so that it cases the packs 3 into the box with normal and reverse directions of the packs 3 alternated with each transfer of the packs.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
