PURPOSE: To prevent any overadjustment clue to severe usage in stopping an automatic adjusting action in time of being reached to the temperature of more than the specified, in this automatic clearance adjuster of a drum brake. ;CONSTITUTION: A base part 34 tightly attached with a stopper 8 consisting of bimetal which is deformed so as to cane nearer and engaged with one end 29 of an adjusting lever 6 if being reached to the temperature of more than the specified, thereby restricting any rotation of the adjusting lever 6, and an engaging part being engaged with this adjusting lever 6 both are installed so as to make it almost parallel with a turning locus of the one end 29 of the adjusting lever 6.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
