REINFORCING METHOD FOR COLUMN AND CONNECTION PART OF COLUMN AND BEAM IN EXISTING BUILDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reinforce a connection part of a column and beams with a simple work and labors without welding works, by forming a reinforcing belt surrounding a column of a building and stacking a plurality of reinforcing belts from the lower part of the column to a position under a beam and placing reinforcing concrete between the column and the reinforcing belt. ;SOLUTION: A reinforcing belt is formed by steel plates so as to surround an inside column 2 of an existing building and a plurality of reinforcing belts are stacked from the lower part of the inside column 2 to a position under a beam 5. Reinforcing concrete 6 is placed between the reinforcing belts 4 and the column 2. The reinforcing belt made of two semicircular steel plates 1 are joined with high strength bolts 3 to shape a circular form. Or reinforcing steel plate belts with ribs are formed so as to surround the connection part of the inside column 2 and the beam 5 of an existing building and a plurality of reinforcing belts with ribs are stacked from the lower part of the connection part to the underface of the upper floor slab.
