PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the dimensional accuracy of a bracket by welding and joining a lower flange unit and an upper flange unit formed by laser cutting the web part of a wide flange shape in compliance with the inclined shape of the upper flange unit. ;SOLUTION: The lower flange unit 9 is produced by cutting the web part 3 of the wide flange shape 1 of a suitable length by laser cutting in compliance with the shape 7 of the upper flange 5 as the bracket to be used for a connection member. Next, the upper flange 5 is combined with the lower flange unit 9. The main body of the bracket 11 used for the connection member is completed if the web part 3 of the lower flange unit and the upper flange 5 are welded. Positioning is executed more exactly if the shape part of the web part 3 of the lower flange unit 9 is provided with projecting parts 10 for engagement for positioning to the upper flange 5 and the upper flange 5 is provided with fitting holes 12 for fitting into these projecting parts 10 for engagement. Next, the working of the bolt holes for connection and the grooves for welding for connection of the beam member to the main body of the bracket 11 are executed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
