PURPOSE: To prevent horizontal deviation of a knot of right and left rear parts of a cord and early damage to a heel member by forming a small hole in a main sole member to set a part of the knot thereinto and a recess part at a point corresponding to tied parts on the underside of a core base to bury the tied parts. ;CONSTITUTION: Rear parts 7 and 8 of a cord are inserted into insertion holes 4 and 5 of a main sole member 3 and outcoming end parts 11 and 12 are tied at the final ends of right and left core ropes 9 and 10. A heel member 13 is fixed on the underside at a heel part of the main sole member 3 to conceal tied parts. In this case, a small hole 16 is cut at a position corresponding to a knot 15 of the tied parts in the main sole member 3 to set a part of the knot 15 thereinto. At the same time, a recess 18 is arranged above the tied parts on the underside of the core base 1 to bury a portion 17 of the main sole member corresponding to the tied parts and the tied parts themselves.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
